Volunteer!

Northwest Montessori is always in need of volunteers to help with the ongoing activities associated with running a not-for-profit organization, let alone a school. We encourage you to help out in any of the following areas:

• Outdoor beautification projects
• Small household type jobs or handyman work
• Coloring, cutting, repairing and repainting materials
• Sewing projects
• Carpentry and woodworking
• Posting NWM advertisements
• Editing mailings and brochures
• Help with website and graphic design
• Newsletter production (i.e. article submission, editing)
• Computer maintenance
• Technical support
• Classroom representative
• Volunteer coordinator
• All-school socials organization
• Meeting refreshments
• Playground duty (AM or PM)
• Grant writing
• Annual giving campaign
• Store sponsorship receipts
• Planning committee
• Decoration committee
• Set-up and/or take-down
• Check-in and check-out
• Work on auction night
• Assist with classroom projects
• Write and address thank-you cards
