Drama Llamas

NWM's After School Drama Club

The Drama Llamas are Northwest Montessori School's after school children's drama and music ensemble. Any lower or upper elementary student of NWM is welcome to join. On Tuesdays, the children play theater games, create little plays, and develop their musical skills. On Thursdays, we play theater games and hone our acting skills.

Once a year, we dedicate our after school activities to rehearsing a main stage production. We have produced Alice in Wonderland, The Elephant's Child, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and The Wizard of Oz. This spring, we will create a little play adapted from the book Jane and the Dragon. It will tour around to each of the Northwest Montessori School branches.
